REVOLUTION9 is an independent hair salon in St. Petersburg, Florida built around skilled work, strong relationships, and a genuine respect for the craft.
Since 2007, we’ve grown from a small studio into a team of stylists with different specialties, perspectives, and approaches to the work — from haircuts and hair color to blonding, extensions, curly hair, smoothing, and texture.
No two people wear their hair the same way.
We start by listening — to your goals, your lifestyle, your hair history, and how you actually want to wear it.

Our first time visit and Amina was great! She took time to listen to what my daughter wanted to do with her hair and we are very happy with the results! Her hair looks so smooth, shiny, and healthy. Can't wait to come back next week for the color!

I had a color overhaul and she corrected a horrendous haircut that I had previously. The salon is also located is a beautiful part of St. Pete and very easy to get to. Finally a salon that gets it. If you’re tired of these salons where they only focus on high priced services - “blonding” or extensions, this salon nails it. They are open after 5, will do bang trims, root touch ups and they don’t push products either. Focused on the client - not on how much your service is going to cost. Josh is amazing - great with cut and color.

HOW WE GOT HERE
Every name has a story. This is ours.
REVOLUTION9 began in 2007 as Number9 Salon.
The original name was inspired by our first location, the personal significance of the number nine, and The Beatles’ experimental track “Revolution 9.”
Over time, the salon grew.
The work evolved.
Eventually, the name needed to evolve with it.
REVOLUTION9 carries both where we came from and where we’re going:
Respect for the craft.
Curiosity about what comes next.
And the freedom to evolve without losing who we are.
